


Jikiden Reiki Shoden Class - May 2025
Join us for 2 Days while we explore the foundations of Reiki.
During this class, you will learn how to administer Reiki to yourself and loved ones. We will cover Reiki history, and the Eastern belief systems of disease and how it is created.
Additionally, you will practice hands-on application and learn how to “sense” reiki.
You will learn about:
What the the Reiki Gokai (five Reiki precepts) is, what it means, and how to properly recite them in Japanese.
What Byosen is and how to apply it during a Reiki session.
What Shizen joka sayo and Heikin joka are and how they relate to Reiki treatment.
You will learn the first shirushi (symbol) used in Jikiden Reiki, how to use it and its meaning.
Reiki techniques used for basic first aid.
How to administer Ketsueki Kokan (kekko), a blood circulation technique, that is used to assist the body's natural cleansing process.
How to develop sensitivity to Reiki movement in your hands, Hatsurei-ho - a.
Reiki Mawashi & Reiki Okuri which is energy perception and building exercises for group practice.
Upon completing your class you will receive a beautiful hand-painted certificate from Japan and be registered with the Jikien Reiki Institute.
